Fredrick C. Hamilton Building at the Denver Art Museum

Pictures from May 2004

Between 13th and 14th Avenues, Bannock and Acoma Streets
Denver, Colorado, United States
Architect: Studio Daniel Libeskind
Projected Completion: 2006

Denver's biggest museum is constucting Daniel Libeskind's first US building, a cantilevered crystal of more galleries (and a museum shop) for whatever art the Denver Art Museum actually has. The new Fredrick C. Hamilton Building will almost double the museum (designed by Gio Ponti) and create the architectural center of Denver, perpetually confusing Michael Graves' Denver Public Library located diagonally across the street.
